Mile High Trail Riders 2004 Banquet In the grand spirit of the MHTR, members came from all over the eastern slope to celebrate a great year of ATV riding. This years banquet was held at the Trail Dust Restaurant off Interstate 25 and Arapahoe Road. Club members enjoyed an evening of live entertainment, good food and a raffle for prizes contributed by metro ATV dealer sponsors. Local sponsors donated some fantastic riding gear and 100% of the proceeds from the raffle were donated to the Colorado Off-Highway Vehicle Coalition (COHVCO). Now with over 100 members who have joined the club, the MHTR will look to 2005 to increase their membership by approximately 100%. The club had some great planned rides in 2004, which included some out of State trips to Nevada, Utah and Okalahoma.Rides frequented rough terrain, fast paced Colorado trails and some fantastic sand dunes. With the elimination of dues and any form of corporate entity, the MHTR has experienced a more relaxed atmosphere and the absence of member liability so many clubs across the USA fear. We hope you'll join us, as we get ready to head into 2005. A ride calendar will be revised and trips advertised to all our members. The winter months may slow us down a notch but rest assured, the MHTR will be riding year round. We look forward to hearing from you and hope you will take the time to stop in at one of our monthly meeting to visit with us. We look forward to seeing you on the trail.
